The City of Vienna and a network of strong partners from business and the public sector are the organisations behind aspern Seestadt. The development agency Wien 3420 AG is in overall charge of the project.

Seestadt is not a conventional urban expansion zone, but a city-within-a-city fulfilling a diverse range of urban functions, a business hub creating up to 20,000 jobs and housing for over 25,000 people, and a new centre for Vienna's 22nd municipal district, the immediate surrounding area and the wider Centrope region.

high quality of urban planning and design.

Wien 3420 aspern development AG and the City of Vienna's Program Management of urban development areas are the two essential points of contact for all stakeholders at Seestadt. The Seestadt aspern Neighbourhood Management team provides information about ongoing developments in and around Seestadt and works to support existing community networks and build new ones for the future.
