In spring 2013 HOERBIGER became the first major global player to choose to locate at aspern Seestadt. Headquartered in Zug, Switzerland, HOERBIGER Holding AG is a worldwide leader in compression, automation and drive technologies. In 2012, its 6,700 employees generated a turnover of more than one billion euros. The company has been producing compressor components and systems in the Simmering district of Vienna since 1931. Its new Vienna campus at Seestadt has been under construction since 2014 and will house 600 staff.
